A few ways to eat your granola!
January 19, 2023Granola is a great way to include whole grain food in your diet, especially for breakfast! It has a munch-able crunchy texture that can be enjoyed as a meal or snack. The combination of dried fruits, seeds, nuts, oats and honey is a flavorsome mix. Adding your touch with the following suggestions allows you to have a quick, filling and healthy breakfast or snack!
1 – As a breakfast cereal
It’s time to replace your high sugar, artificially flavored breakfast cereal with healthier granola! This recipe is as easy as it gets, simply pour milk or juice on your granola in a bowl!
2 – Yoghurt Parfait
Add 1/4 cup of granola with a cup of Greek or Regular yoghurt, a handful of fresh fruit & honey to taste. P.S. Bananas and strawberries make great additions!
3 – Smoothie
Instead of just adding rolled oats to your smoothie, add some granola in the blender with your favorite smoothie ingredients. That way, your smoothie will also include nuts, seeds & dried fruits!
4 – Crunchy muffin topping
Adding a crunchy topping to your muffins will make for a great twist! Mix the granola into your healthy muffin mix, after it’s baked, the granola at the top will give you a great crunch!
