OWN’s Women’s Wellness Month Feature…
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, OWN celebrates women that OWN their wellness and improve the wellbeing of others. For every bar purchased online this month, we will donate 15% of proceeds to a local charity that helps Egyptian women get tested and cured!
This is a feature of one of those women. Yasmina Nessim is a pioneer in helping Women around the world OWN their mood, wellbeing, productivity and self-expression through fashion.
Yasmina explains to us, “Years of my life were dedicated to studying and researching the relationship between the human psyche and fashion. Today, I dedicate my life instead to the practice of fashion psychology and women’s wellbeing. What I do, preach, and practice every day involves using our everyday clothing choices to better ourselves — our mood, productivity, and self-expression.”
Her company called Pstyled, “is a tool that women all over the world use daily to help them maximize their wellbeing.”
“Wellness, in its entirety, is about listening to your body, being introspective, and catering to its wants and needs. It’s spans across a range of things; from food and nutrition to sleep and meditation; from workouts to human interaction; and even the songs we listen to and books we read. And now we can add fashion to the list of key tools needed to focus on our well-being, as a resource that we use every day to help us take care of ourselves from the outside in.”
